Overview

Valimail offers two main components of its platform: Valimail Enforce and Valimail Defend.

For outbound email, Valimail Enforce provides complete automation for email authentication based on industry standards (DMARC, SPF, DKIM). Companies protected with Enforce can’t be impersonated by attackers pretending to send messages “from” that company (regardless of whether those attacks are directed at employees, customers, or partners).

When DMARC is implemented properly through Valimail Enforce, it blocks email domain impersonation attacks, and it allows IT teams to gain greater visibility into who is sending email on their company’s behalf.

Valimail Enforce is so effective because it automates the process of identifying thousands of different third-party cloud services, so customers can easily authorize those services they want to enable to send mail on their behalf (e.g. payroll service, HR platform, sales force management, email list providers, etc.) while blocking all others. And Valimail guarantees that Enforce customers get to DMARC enforcement.

Valimail Defend is an automated identity-based solution, powered by the largest clearinghouse of trusted senders in the industry, that authenticates sender identity before allowing emails to enter the inbox. Unlike email security solutions that generate lots of false alarms and require extensive management, Valimail provides the strongest protection against lookalike-domain and friendly-from attacks without accessing the contents of email messages.
