Overview
Traditional Privileged Access Management (PAM) products are expensive, difficult to deploy and difficult to use – creating barriers to adoption. Keeper Security is leading the way toward the future of PAM with a solution that is cost effective, fast provisioning, easy to use, provides pervasive visibility, and built with world-class security.
According to research from Keeper, 56% of IT leaders tried to deploy a PAM solution but did not fully implement it, with 92% citing overly-complex solutions as the main reason. KeeperPAM consolidates enterprise-grade password management, secrets management and privileged connection management into one unified SaaS platform.
KeeperPAM is FedRAMP and StateRAMP authorized and works out of the box with password rotation, passwordless authentication, SSO, SIEM, SDK, MFA and CI/CD applications. Keeper’s patented PAM solution natively includes advanced functionality for enabling administrators to securely share privileged account passwords for individuals and groups – including root and administrator accounts – without exposing plain text credentials.
KeeperPAM helps customers overcome challenges to achieve their business goals:
– Keeper Connection Manager (KCM) supports multiple use cases including Remote Infrastructure Access for IT teams connecting to databases, SSH and Kubernetes (container deployments) nodes; PAM with session recording and auditability; VPN replacement with zero-trust access to systems following least-privilege principles and RDP for distributed workforces to use centralized apps and data.
– Enterprise Password Manager (EPM) provides organizations with visibility and control over employee password practices. IT administrators can secure, monitor and control passwords and infrastructure secrets across the organization – both remote and on-prem – and set up and enforce RBAC, MFA and least-privilege access.
– Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) integrates into nearly any tech stack, with no on-premises installations required. Secrets in KSM are protected in a hyper-secure vault with multiple layers of encryption.
Key Capabilities / Features
EMA named Keeper Security a leading PAM provider for its product strength and cost-efficiency. Keeper is leading the way toward the future of PAM with a solution that is:
Fast provisioning – deploys and integrates with any tech or identity stack, in just hours.
Easy to use – unified admin console and modern UI for every employee on all device types with average training of less than two hours.
Provides pervasive visibility – simplifies auditing and compliance with organization-wide RBAC, event logging and reporting.
Built with world-class security – enables zero-trust transformation and is zero knowledge, which relegates encryption key management to the client.
KCM is an agentless remote desktop gateway that provides DevOps and IT teams with instant access to RDP, SSH, VNC, database and Kubernetes endpoints through any standard web browser. KCM supports multiple use cases including remote infrastructure access, PAM with session recording and auditability, VPN replacement with zero-trust access to systems following least-privilege principles, and RDP for distributed workforces that need to use centralized apps and data.
KSM is a fully-managed, cloud-based, zero-knowledge platform for securing infrastructure secrets such as API keys, database passwords, access keys, certificates and any other type of confidential data. KSM integrates into nearly any tech stack, with no on-premises installations required. Secrets in KSM are protected in a hyper-secure vault with multiple layers of encryption.
EPM enables management, protection and sharing of passwords and sensitive information with enterprise-wide security, visibility, control and reporting. IT administrators can secure, monitor and control passwords, passkeys and infrastructure secrets, both remote and on-prem, and set up and enforce RBAC, MFA and least-privilege access. EPM provides analytics into credential security and hygiene across all endpoints and systems with native SIEM integration.
How we are different
Keeper Security was co-founded by two cybersecurity visionaries, Darren Guccione (CEO) and Craig Lurey (CTO). Fourteen years ago, Darren and Craig conceived the early plans for the world’s top-rated password manager and secure digital vault on a long overseas flight.
Today, Keeper is the leading provider of zero-trust and zero-knowledge cybersecurity software protecting passwords, passkeys, privileged access, secrets and remote connections. Trusted by millions of individuals and thousands of organizations, Keeper is transforming the way organizations and individuals protect their credentials, secrets, connections and sensitive digital assets to significantly reduce the risks of identity-related cyber attacks, while gaining organization-wide visibility and control.
Keeper isn’t just committed to security; they are fanatical about it. Keeper's zero-trust and zero-knowledge cybersecurity solutions are FedRAMP and StateRAMP Authorized, FIPS 140-2 validated, as well as SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliant. Every organization needs to secure its passwords, credentials, secrets and connections to reduce the risk of cyber attacks and defend against internal and external threat vectors. Keeper’s priority is to create simple, easy-to-use and highly scalable solutions to help meet the needs of today’s IT and security professionals.
Keeper is the first company to unify three essential IAM products - Keeper Connection Manager, Keeper Secrets Manager and Enterprise Password Manager - to create a next generation Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution called KeeperPAM. Keeper provides the most critical components of privileged access management without the complexity of traditional PAM solutions to quickly and seamlessly integrate with any existing tech and IAM stack, and achieve enterprise-wide coverage and visibility. The solution enables zero-trust and zero-knowledge security and compliance by unifying password, secrets and connections management into one platform.
