The internet is a fantastic gift. The fact that we can create instant dialogues and hide behind a wall of anonymity has major advantages.

But at the same time, the lack of genuine, verifiable identities creates a serious weakness and, at times, personal danger, e.g., identity theft, dating misidentification, child endangerment…

When you read other forums or groups, you can check whether people present their ideas and support them using their real identity, or whether they’re anonymous. This may help you in drawing conclusions on the importance and factuality of what’s being presented.

In short, the internet identity card is not obligatory, but can be used, whenever needed, in circumstances where this would help the user identify the authenticity of others’ presence and corroborate them as who they purport themselves to be.

My principal goal is to create a safer Internet environment.

I continually reassess my product, always being considerate of the end user. When necessary, I amend card features, and regularly identify improvements, which I implement immediately. I work well with others, consistently directing questions regarding product capabilities and possible enhancements.

I am truly interested in developing an instrument to make people safer by protecting their individual identities and inhibiting or completely obstructing those who would harm others through use of the Internet.
