Mr. Khan has led marketing efforts at RiskIQ. He also led product and solution marketing at Imperva, Tenable Network Security, Threatmetrix, and spent over 4 years at ArcSight/HP where he was instrumental in the rapid adoption of ArcSight SIEM products.
At ArcSight, Mr. Khan was responsible for leading the marketing efforts for ArcSight ESM, the company’s flagship SIEM platform, and launched ArcSight’s midmarket SIEM offering. Mr. Khan’s helped achieve the “Leader” designation in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for SIEM for 5 years in a row.
At Tenable, Mr. Khan repositioned the Tenable SecurityCenter product family, helped launch the Cloud offering of Tenable’s widely deployed Nessus vulnerability management solution and was instrumental in positioning the company’s eventual IPO.
At ThreatMetrix, Mr. Khan led the corporate and product positioning for their device identity, malware detection, and fraud prevention suite of cybersecurity products, leading to their acquisition by LexisNexis Risk Solutions for approx $900 Million. The products won leadership designations by Forrester and other leading analyst and publication firms.
At RiskIQ, Mr. Khan built the messaging for the company’s Digital Risk Management offerings in a very confusing landscape, winning recognition by Forrester and other analyst firms. Mr. Khan also built the channel strategy, AR/PR strategy and demand generation functions for RiskIQ.
At Securonix, Mr. Khan has helped push the company’s NextGen SIEM offering into the Leader’s Quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SIEM. Mr. Khan has completely revamped the company’s market positioning for SIEM, AR/PR, demand generation, product and partner marketing functions putting Securonix to take on much larger SIEM competitors, and on the path for rapid growth.
