Overview
Abnormal Security was founded in 2018 and launched the Inbound Email Security product in 2019, designed to prevent business email compromise and other advanced attacks from reach end users. Since that time, we have continued to experience massive growth both in customers and employees. In addition to the core platform, Abnormal now has four add-on products available designed to automate abuse mailbox submissions, remediate compromised accounts, increase end-user productivity, and enable better posture management.
The company now protects hundreds of global enterprises including more than 10% of the Fortune 500. Over the past two fiscal years, Abnormal has experienced over 700% growth in ARR and nearly 400% growth in the number of full-time employees. In the last two quarters alone, Abnormal experienced an 84% increase in customer logos. This growth comes alongside continued product expansion and platform enhancements.
In the most recent Series C funding round, announced in May 2022, Abnormal raised $210M at a valuation of $4 billion—one of the largest cybersecurity valuations of its size.
