Overview

Access Analyzer is a software as a service (SaaS) access control platform that automates the monitoring, detection, and prevention of internal cybersecurity risks in SAP systems, minimizing potential breaches and fraud and accelerating remediation.

Once Access Analyzer is installed and connected to SAP, users will see a high-level, data-driven dashboard that displays all of their company’s access risks at a glance. The risks are ranked by high, medium and low, and they are sorted by user, role and business process. Users can also get insight into their access risks with six different types of reports that are easy to understand for both IT employees and business-side employees. This reporting is also beneficial when it’s time to complete an access audit, as external auditors require completeness and accuracy in their clients’ audit reporting. Carol Chapman of American National Insurance Company (and frequent user of Access Analyzer) said “[It] produced very targeted and accurate data we needed for our external auditors.”

A major feature that truly makes Access Analyzer stand out and provide true prevention of SoD risks is the What If Simulation. It’s a preventative measure that allows the internal audit team to perform an analysis on potential risks and conflicts with new or changed roles. One Access Analyzer user, Kaysi J. Veatch of DigitalGlobe, used the What If Simulation along with other features of Access Analyzer to identify 255 SoD conflicts and resolve over 97 percent of them with mitigating controls.
