The Forescout platform leads the industry in providing active defense for the Enterprise of Things. By identifying, segmenting and enforcing compliance of connected devices, customers can effectively manage cyber, operational and compliance risks across the extended environment. The platform deploys quickly at large-enterprise scale without the need for infrastructure upgrades, resulting in faster ROI and lower TCO. To further support organizations with zero trust initiatives, Forescout recently expanded its platform’s set of network segmentation capabilities that will provide end-to-end visibility and real-time analysis to automate risk mitigation and policy management.
Forescout’s Device Cloud is also one of the world’s largest device repositories, and it now contains more than 12 million devices from more than 1,000 customers who share anonymized device insights. Forescout uses the Device Cloud data to analyze more than 150 attributes per device to bring increased device intelligence and improved auto-classification to its customers.
Aside from industry-leading products, Forescout has helped tackle growing threats on connected critical infrastructure by conducting its research project, Project Memoria— the most extensive study to date assessing the security of TCP/IP stacks. Over the last year, Forescout’s researchers analyzed 14 different TCP/IP stacks, uncovering 97 vulnerabilities that could impact 3 billion-plus devices around the world. Forescout has helped many of the affected vendors to better understand the impact of stack vulnerabilities, reviewed vendors’ patches, and helped asset owners to identify and mitigate the risks around vulnerable yet un-patched devices.
