CSPi’s ARIA™ Software-Defined Security platform is the only security technology on the market that simplifies securing applications and their data no matter where it is processed or stored. Built with a patented approach ARIA makes it simple to achieve Secure DevOps across any infrastructure environment, including public cloud. Developers aren’t crypto experts – with ARIA they don’t have to know anything about crypto. ARIA lets developers easily secure, and encrypt their applications with simple drag-in and drop common-use connectors, into their application. With a few simple steps ARIA’s agent can then apply the appropriate type and level encryption for that application. Configuration of all such setting is zero touch – set from the central ARIA Orchestrator programmatically. This happens automatically as the ARIA agent beacons out to its Orchestrator. If no policy exists for this type of instance – the Orchestrator informs the InfoSec team of its existence to apply the appropriate policies: including what the application should be allowed to talk to, and what type/level of encryption ARIA should apply to the data processed. Security features, like encryption, can heavily tax server core capacity and negatively impact performance. With ARIA, encryption functionality can be offloaded to run on an optional secure intelligent adapter (SIA) NIC. This innovative approach typically provides a 10x performance improvement vs. running the encryption on a busy host CPU. The SIA NIC card runs with zero-touch, takes up no additional footprint and is much cheaper than the rip-&-replace of servers all with no disruption. AIRA is the only solution that works with VMware’s extremely popular VSAN to transparently offload encryption from the underlying cluster. This enables VSAN to be deployed on any underlying infrastructure and a reason the product won best new security product at VMworld.
