Overview

Cyolo was created with the mission of mitigating major security gaps that CISOs and security leaders were finding within their current security strategies and solutions. It was one of the founders, Almog Apirion, a former CISO who lived first-hand the challenges of creating a security-first approach. He understood the importance of closing the multiple gaps in today’s solutions, including high-risk identity access for new and legacy systems. Almog partnered with two of the world’s leading ethical hackers, Dedi Yarkoni and Eran Shmuely, to create the first real, zero-trust access solution capable of protecting every infrastructure whether businesses run legacy or newer technology systems.

Cyolo’s goal is to enable IT and security leaders with full visibility and control over access, connectivity and oversight among users on-prem, in the cloud or in hybrid environments. The company has provided multiple enterprises within critical industries – including energy, utilities and finance – with simple, seamless, secure access to the entirety of their organization’s digital assets, while simultaneously limiting user access to only the applications or tools they need to do their job. All without impeding operational productivity and without any requirements for change management.

As cybersecurity threats continue to rise businesses can remain confident that they are secure. Cyolo implements a new way of layering security, by retrofitting existing corporate networks to accommodate a host of modern authentication tools like MFA, SSO, end-to-end encryption, etc. More than 120,000 users are securely connected across the globe to resources, applications, desktops and any required component within their infrastructure. Remote and third-party users can be carefully monitored through auditing and recording capabilities, fast and secure access and continuous authorization and end-to-end encryption. Access is simplified from one website link, allowing admins to install the solution within minutes.

How we are different

In the past year, Cyolo has achieved measurable market growth. In June 2022, the company raised $60 million in series B funding backed by multiple ventures including IBM Ventures and National Grid Partners – enabling the expansion of Cyolo’s leadership and accelerating the global presence of its zero-trust access solution. Over the past three years, the company has seen its revenue increase sixfold, which shows its commitment to providing security protection from edge to core for its customers. Further, Cyolo is steadily expanding its operations from Israel to the rest of Europe - including the UK, Germany and France - and North and South America.

The growth of the company goes in tandem with the 100% customer growth rate in 2022. Since its founding in 2019, Cyolo has provided multiple organizations operating in critical industries with enhanced, real zero-trust security capabilities - which include full visibility and control, as well as the ability to integrate with different IdPs and protect all applications regardless of protocol.

To ensure security is held to the highest standard, the company also unveiled Cyolo Connected, its innovative partner program for next-generation zero-trust Cyolo. As of December 2022, the company had more than 5 technology partners including big cloud vendors like Google and AWS and offered more than 5 technology integrations to ensure organizations can track all applications and systems.
