In November 2015, Elastica became a Blue Coat company when it was acquired for $280 million (after being launched from stealth just three years earlier). Elastica has reached numerous milestones, including elevating visibility for the Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB) market, where it has staked a claim as a leading competitor. The acquisition is among its most significant achievements, as it shows that CASBs will play an essential role in enabling effective security for enterprises that want to take advantage of popular cloud apps such as Microsoft Office 365, Google Drive, Box, Salesforce and others.

– Launched from stealth the first CloudSOC solution, which is the only CASB solution powered by data science, machine learning, AI and algorithms developed by one of the deepest benches of data scientists assembled at a Silicon Valley Startup.
