NOMINATION HIGHLIGHTS

Packet data provides crucial, tamper-resistant evidence of network activity for faster and more conclusive incident forensics and traffic analysis.

The EndaceProbe platform provides highly scalable, always-on, packet capture and recording for on-prem, private and public cloud networks. Organizations can capture, index and store network traffic and activity. The result is a complete, accurate record of activity across the network – right down to the actual payload, enabling analysts and teams to see precisely what is happening and what has happened on the network. EndaceProbes cost-effectively record weeks or months of network traffic, so NetOps and SecOps teams can delve further back in time to accurately reconstruct and investigate threats, breaches or performance issues.

The EndaceProbe’s integration capability enables packet forensics to be integrated directly into third-party network security and monitoring solutions, putting definitive evidence at analysts’ fingertips.
Throughout 2025, Endace partnered with Cisco and Splunk as part of Security Operations Centers at major cybersecurity events (RSAC® 25, Cisco Live®, Black Hat® USA, etc.). These pop-up SOCs addressed the real-world challenges of securing and protecting conference networks from internal and external threats, provided real-world insights into current threat landscapes, and demonstrated the importance of packet capture and real-time threat detection.

The conference SOCs were staffed by a host of security analysts, threat hunters, and managers around the clock to keep the conference network and attendee data safe. EndaceProbe’s always-on packet capture ensured that analysts have a complete record of all network activity so that they can access definitive evidence when investigating threats.

SOC analysts could rapidly pivot from incidents they were investigating, directly to the related packet data, using EndaceVision. This full packet capture forensics capability is seamlessly integrated into advanced security analytics and monitoring tools from the world’s leading cybersecurity vendors.

The adage, “PCAP or it didn’t happen” was often heard in the SOCs. As proven by the statistics at each conference, the SOCs at these events demonstrated deep, unified network visibility is fundamental to effective security operations. As threats grow more sophisticated, the ability to see and analyze every packet traversing the network becomes increasingly critical for fast, effective response.
