To do this it requires detailed visibility across hybrid network architectures and multiple connected components like SWG, CASB, NGFW, WAF, DLP and XDR.

Recognizing over 4000 protocols and applications, more than any other commercial DPI engine, it provides granular insights into network activity and delivers vital capabilities such as encrypted traffic classification, detection of anomalous and evasive traffic, accurate first packet classification, extended protocol and application coverage (with deep Cloud, SaaS, ICS/SCADA & IoT, and Business application coverage), and cloud-grade scalability and performance.

Accurate first packet classification reduces the need for full DPI. High granularity and valuable metadata minimize the need to use resource-intensive decryption when full DPI is required.
