The Fortinet Network Security Expert Certification program is designed to provide technical professionals with validation of their security and networking skills. The 400+ hours of content is developed by Fortinet’s trainers, curriculum developers and FortiGuard Labs research team. The program was recently updated to be more role-based covering six key areas: Network Security, Security Operations, Cloud Security, OT Security, Secure Access Services Edge, and Zero Trust Access, leading to the top level of certified expert.

Partnerships and Free Training
Fortinet’s ecosystem of partnerships extends to industry, academia, government, and nonprofits, with a focus on women, minorities, students, and veterans. In doing so, Fortinet further addresses the skills gap by increasing access and reach of its cybersecurity certifications and free training.

The Fortinet Security Awareness and Training service helps organizations improve its security posture when it comes to the risks posed by cyberattacks. The service adheres to the NIST 800-50 and NIST 800-16 guidelines related to the creation of security awareness and training programs.

How we are different

- The Fortinet Training Institute Certification program provides timely content that is developed to help cybersecurity professionals keep pace with the evolving threat landscape. The role-based structure of the cybersecurity training courses provides guidance and best practices to individuals on how to set up specific security solutions, as well as how to defend against potential cyberattacks. Once an exam is passed, the certification provides independent validation that the appropriate security and networking skills were obtained. CSAT scores for the program remain high at 94%.
