Overview

GuardKnox achieved its status as the automotive industry’s first cybertech tier supplier by developing its patented Secure Network Orchestrator (SNO) product line – flexible, scalable, high-performance, and cost-effective computing solutions for the next generation of secure vehicles. GuardKnox’s patented hardware and software solutions thwart cyberattacks, create an improved end-user experience, and generate revenue opportunities for OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

Both drivers and manufacturers seek increasingly more sophisticated cars containing autonomous capabilities. Drivers want to customize their cars so that they know the music they like, the roads they prefer to travel on, etc. Manufacturers seek platforms that enable secure, high-performance, and added application hosting to fulfill these desires. All of this needs to be done without adding more weight and complexity to the vehicle architecture.

This is where GuardKnox’s main achievement comes in. GuardKnox’s patented products uniquely serve as building blocks for added connectivity, infotainment services, and vehicle personalization, while simultaneously protecting vehicles against unauthorized access. GuardKnox’s cybertech-based solutions require no added connectivity and are applicable to traditional vehicles, electric vehicles (EVs), trucks, school buses, trains, and beyond. GuardKnox’s solutions are deterministic, autonomous, and comprehensive. GuardKnox achieved flexible, scalable, and future-proof products that no competitors currently provide to OEMs and aftermarket providers of connected vehicles.

GuardKnox’s patented products serve OEMs, Tier-1s, and the aftermarket. The internal SNO offers a total in-vehicle cybersecurity platform ensuring centralized protection for all ECUs while serving as a foundation for customization. The external SNO provides cybersecurity for telematics, infotainment, on-board diagnostics (OBD), over-the-air (OTA) software updates, and other ECUs connected to cellular internet. Its EV SNO blocks threats posed to vehicle-to-grid (v2G) communications over private and public charging systems. GuardKnox also offers its built-to-spec SNO, a completely customizable cybersecurity solution for automakers and suppliers. GuardKnox’s solutions will continue to empower the automotive industry.

How we are different

-GuardKnox should be recognized as it offers the first in-vehicle cybersecurity platform delivering centralized protection to all ECUs while serving as a foundation for future vehicle personalization and customization.

-No competitors currently provide solutions as flexible, scalable, and future-proof to OEMs and aftermarket providers of connected vehicles. The company is currently partnering with Porsche, Daimler, Volkswagen Group, DXC Technologies and more to implement the solution into their vehicles. GuardKnox is currently collaborating with Palo Alto Networks to provide an end-to-end solution as well.

-GuardKnox’s solutions are critical to the next age of secured vehicles. They create the secure in-vehicle environment for data and application hosting, processing and storage by way of secure isolation and partitioning. This guarantees if a non-safety critical system in a vehicle’s network goes down, for instance, a driver’s infotainment, a hacker cannot use this vulnerability as an entry point to interfere with safety-critical systems within the vehicle (brakes, engine).

-GuardKnox’s team brings decades of cyber-technology experience to the automotive industry having provided similar cybersecurity solutions to the following Israeli Air Force systems: Iron Dome, Arrow, and Israeli F-16 and F-35 fighter jets. It applies this experience to effectively work with its long list of partners, including Porsche, Daimler, Volkswagen Group, DXC Technologies, and more to implement the solution into their vehicles.
