Conversations About Verification, Security, and the IoT:
Launched in March of 2022, our Humans in Tech podcast is produced by the Identiv Marketing Team every week. We explore today’s most transformative technology and the trends of tomorrow. Bringing together the brightest minds in and outside our industry, we unpack what is new in physical access, identity verification, cybersecurity, and Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems. We also reach beyond the physical world, discuss our digital transformation as a species, and dive into the emerging phygital experience on a journey to discover just how connected the future will be, and how we as humans fit into that picture.
How we are different
With a career that spans more than 25 years, Identiv's VP of Global Marketing Leigh Dow hosts the Humans in Tech podcast with high energy and infectious enthusiasm. Her leadership in the industry and branding, marketing, and public relations skills bring a new perspective to the cybersecurity and tech world. Leigh’s experience working with companies like Honeywell and Intel provides valuable insight for listeners worldwide.
Each week, Humans in Tech dives into security, technology, and the IoT with colorful and sometimes surprising guests. The podcast tackles diversity and equity in cybersecurity, impactful interviews with CEOs and top industry leaders, the importance of mentoring and career advancement, essential associations making a difference within the industry, and the latest buzz at industry trade shows. We also dive deep into the future of technology to discuss Multi-factor authentication (MFA), identity verification, our identities in the metaverse, passwordless FIDO2, the future of authentication, cybersecurity breaches, and the top data breach fails of all time.
Humans in Tech has more than 26,000 listeners globally while only launched 10 months ago, and is on an upwards weekly growth trajectory, securing new listeners every day. The hyperconnectivity of our lives is only growing more pervasive. As technology becomes more automated and experiences more augmented, we must preserve our humanity and use new tools and trends for good. The only question is: Are we up to the challenge? Humans in Tech aims to answer provocative questions that listeners will not find in any other security podcast.
