Overview

After hearing from security professionals for years about the lack of solid career path training, Infosec developed Infosec Skills and launched the platform in April 2019. With Infosec Skills, IT and security professionals take control of their careers while staying sharp on the latest security threats.
Infosec Skills is mapped to the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework, which contains entry, mid and advanced cybersecurity roles backed by research into the actual skills requested by employers. With Infosec Skills and NICE, users have the roadmap necessary to identify what employers want and the tools needed to follow that career path, whether brand new to information security or an established infosec professional.

The program helps build cybersecurity knowledge across more than 50 skill and certification learning paths. Each learning path contains a collection of courses structured to progress knowledge and close any skill gaps — along with hands-on cyber ranges and certification practice exams to build confidence.

Infosec Skills is differentiated by its incredible depth of content and materials. For the 50 skill and certification learning paths, 400+ courses are available and 100+ hands-on labs are contained in cyber ranges for penetration testing, networking, SCADA and Linux. Certification practice exams are also included in an education platform designed for flexibility — students can study at any time on any device where and when they learn best.

Infosec Skills also provides convenience with monthly and annual plans allowing a student to take all the courses they want at one budget-friendly price.

How we are different

*Infosec Skills is differentiated by its incredible depth of content and materials.

*One of the key components creating the success of the Infosec Skills platform is IT and security pros can directly choose the career paths and gather expertise in entry, mid and advanced cybersecurity roles backed by research into the actual skills requested by employers — with the convenience of monthly and annual plans allowing a student to take all the courses they want at one budget-friendly price.

*These career paths take a lot of the guesswork out of which training and certifications are needed to bring laser focus to strengthen areas of not only the overall risk management plans and practices (Cybersecurity Manager/Administrator, Cybersecurity Architect) but subsets like business continuity (Cybersecurity Analyst, IT Auditor), incident response (Incident Analyst/Responder, Cybercrime Analyst/Investigator), secure coding (Cybersecurity Engineer) and other areas.
