IRONSCALES designed and coded a system to beat cybercriminals to the punch the same way Waze beat offline outdated navigation apps. Instead of analyzing satellite pictures to build maps – or secure email gateways (SEGs) in the cybersecurity world – Waze put a seamless, easy-to-use app in drivers’ hands and placed themselves as close as possible to the road. IRONSCALES has done the same but swapped drivers for security teams and roads for inboxes.

IRONSCALES began as an email phishing simulation and training company and started to notice a disconnect. The user experience and learning process was broken. IRONSCALES knew that if they wanted to help people make more educated decisions when using their email, the company needed to recognize phishing threats for them.
Meet Themis, an AI-driven virtual security analyst and the first and only of her kind. She takes on the burden of analyzing and acting on detected threats in email, freeing up organizations to take on other security initiatives and focus on their work.

Themis understands email phishing tactics are not a one-size-fits-all situation anymore. Cybercriminals and their tactics are constantly advancing, especially considering the world’s rapidly increased reliance on cloud-based email and file sharing systems. These threats include business email compromise (BEC), phishing, supply chain attacks, CEO and employee impersonations and more.
