Overview
iVerify offers an advanced Mobile EDR solution that combines threat detection and mobile forensics with automated response and remediation for enterprise-level protection against sophisticated threats, including mobile malware, unpatched vulnerabilities, smishing, and credential theft, ensuring maximum privacy and security.
A key feature of iVerify’s Mobile EDR solution is Mobile Threat Hunting, which puts the power of threat detection directly into users’ hands. Recently, iVerify’s Mobile Threat Hunting solution was used to reveal critical insights into the current mobile device security landscape. 2,500 self-scanned devices from the company’s user base, resulted in new detections of the now infamous Pegasus mobile spyware. The scans also revealed that these devices were not only recent infections but exposed to a persistent and evolving threat. Analysis of these devices by iVerify’s Mobile Threat Hunting solution revealed a complex timeline of compromise with exploits from late 2023 on iOS 16.6, another potential Pegasus infection in November 2022 on iOS 15, and older infections dating back to 2021 and 2022 across iOS 14 and 15. Each of these represents a device that could have been silently monitored with its data compromised without the owner’s knowledge.
Key Capabilities / Features
iVerify’s Mobile Threat Hunting feature uses a combination of malware signature-based detection, heuristics, and machine learning to look for anomalies in iOS and Android device activity or telltale signs of spyware infection. The solution is capable of detecting 2.5 infected devices per 1,000 scans – a rate significantly higher than historically reported.
iVerify offers free and paid versions of its Mobile EDR solutions. For paid customers, the tool regularly checks devices for potential compromise. Users leveraging the free version can generate and send a special diagnostic utility file to iVerify, and receive an analysis within hours. Free users can use the tool once a month.
How we are different
- iVerify is redefining mobile security through its innovative Mobile EDR solutions. Unlike other EDR solutions that focus on traditional endpoints, iVerify challenges the industry’s understanding of and approach to mobile security.
- iVerify’s Mobile Threat Hunting solution puts the power of threat detection directly into users' hands. Providing a full mobile threat hunt scan completed in just five minutes, directly on a user’s smartphone, iVerify’s Mobile Threat Hunting solution is a critical tool in exposing the prevalence of spyware on mobile devices that is undetected by traditional endpoint security measures.
- iVerify's infrastructure is built to be privacy-preserving. iVerify is SOC2 Type2 certified and prioritizes users. The iVerify EDR agent does not collect Private Data or Personally identifiable Information (PII). It does not gather private data such as texts, photos, videos, emails, site browsing data, call history, app usage data, location history, contacts, calendar entries, device settings, voicemails, health and fitness data, etc.
