As CISO of Evrotrust, Miglen Evlogiev leads security strategy for a regulated trust services provider operating in a highly sensitive digital identity and e-government environment. His work bridges corporate security, regulatory alignment, and national cybersecurity ecosystem development.

Within the organization, Miglen strengthened security governance during a period of growth and restructuring. He played a key role in securing €6.6M in funding by aligning cybersecurity strategy with investor due diligence expectations. He led cross-functional security, IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to enhance operational resilience, improve secure development practices, and prepare for audits and certifications under strict regulatory frameworks. His work ensured audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and structured risk management at scale.

Beyond corporate leadership, Miglen contributes significantly to the broader cybersecurity community in Bulgaria and Europe:

• Organized and spoke at major industry conferences and community events including OWASP Sofia, Cyber Security Talks, Dev.bg, and SoftUni, reaching over 5,000 professionals both online and in person.
• Trained, coached, and mentored dozens of cybersecurity and IT professionals, helping raise practical security maturity in the region.
• Actively advised on cybercrime prevention initiatives, NIS2 implementation efforts, e-government security improvements, and responsible vulnerability disclosure practices.
• Built and led the largest online cybersecurity community in the country, consistently publishing high-quality educational content and practical guidance.

Miglen’s leadership combines hands-on operational security, regulatory alignment, ecosystem building, and executive-level risk management. His impact extends beyond one organization, strengthening cybersecurity culture, knowledge sharing, and governance standards at national level.

In 2025, he was recognized as a Forbes AI Innovative Leader and named among the Top 100 IT Executives in Bulgaria, further validating his cross-disciplinary leadership and influence.
