In 3 bullets, summarize why this product or service is different from the competition and deserves recognition:
• The DNS Shield network drastically reduces latency and eliminates security threats for 20% of all UltraDNS traffic.
The process of making purchasing decisions is more difficult than ever for security leaders, who must navigate a rapidly expanding ecosystem of more than 1,200 cybersecurity vendors. Increasingly, organizations work with a wide range of IT, security, and information services providers, many of which work with their own partners downstream. For companies, whose entire business model is dependent on an easy flow of web traffic, ensuring the tight security of their web platform is vital to a company’s existence. DNS Shield is an innovative service that attempts to secure the Internet by hardwiring private network connections between our and our partners’ recursive servers. By creating a private network, DNS Shield —and the website traffic that resides on it —is much less susceptible to the growing number of DDoS attacks and DNS spoofing attempts that have been causing havoc on the modern Internet. The DNS Shield Network eliminates latency and security threats for 20% of all UltraDNS traffic. Together with the UltraDNS global IP Anycast Network and the in-house DDoS mitigation solution that protects its DNS network, the DNS Shield Network represents the next major step in limiting the effects of DDoS attacks against the DNS. DNS remains a critical and fragile element of our daily-connected lives, yet DNS remains constantly threatened and saddled by DDoS attacks, spoofing attempts, and high volumes of users who frequently cause website congestion and connectivity problems. DNS outages inflict an immense amount of strain on IT teams and cause a ripple effect within the entire organization.
