Supporting the U.S government on its most important missions, we support special intelligence missions, software modernization, and offensive/defensive cyber operations.

Nightwing specializes in bolstering the resiliency of mission-critical systems so that organizations can perform essential functions and operations, even when an adversary has penetrated defenses and compromised networks. By taking a multi-layered approach, we offer a comprehensive security solution that addresses the unique protection needs across a system’s hardware, software, and communications functions.

With a history of innovation spanning four decades, Nightwing is a $1.3 billion business with more than 2,200 employees. We are proud to partner with our civil, military, and commercial customers to protect their most critical information, systems, and operations with breakthrough technology and world-class talent.

How we are different

- Nightwing’s Offensive Labs training program targets the cyber skills gap — one of the greatest challenges for organizations today. Offensive Labs cultivates engineering talent while strengthening the company’s cyber reputation and retaining elite cybersecurity personnel. The training program provides engineers from adjacent disciplines, as well as entry-level engineering talent, with the tactics, techniques, and tradecraft employed by cyber attackers. This approach helps Nightwing engineers understand how best to operate and defend against such adversaries. As candidates progress through the program, they receive a curriculum personalized to their future roles and missions. This program offers students offensive cyber training with extensive experiential learning through hands-on instruction and labs from industry experts.

-Nightwing is making a positive impact on the cybersecurity industry through STEM programs. Over the last two years, the business has supported initiatives such as the U.S. Cyber Games, a competition that builds a stronger and more diverse tech and cybersecurity community. As a founding sponsor of the U.S. Cyber team, Nightwing is strongly committed to developing the next generation of diverse, highly qualified cybersecurity talent.

- Nightwing supports the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (NCCDC), the nation's largest premiere competition of its kind. The event gives collegiate cybersecurity students from across the country the opportunity to test their skills during a simulated cyberattack against a fictional business network. Qualifying and state rounds lead to ten regional competitions across the nation. Regional winners advance to the national championship event. Nightwing employee volunteers work closely with students during the competition and provide mentorship for these future cybersecurity professionals.
