Overview

NTT Ltd.’s Global Threat Intelligence is a core capability that underlies all of the company’s managed security services, including Enterprise Security Monitoring, Threat Detection and Vulnerability Management, as well as many strategic and technical consulting offerings. Threat Intelligence pulls data from a broad array of sources:

• Field Intelligence: incident response and threat hunting data from 10 dedicated global SOCs, which support more than 10,000 clients
• Open Source and Commercial feeds
• Information Sharing Groups
• Data from NTT’s Global IP Network, which carries a large proportion of global Internet traffic

All data is fed into NTT’s proprietary Global Threat Intelligence Platform (GTIP). NTT provides proprietary intelligence sources only available to NTT due to the organization’s size and scope. Furthermore, the NTT Global Network and the company’s large client base are data sources available only to NTT. This provides clients with an unparalleled depth of security intelligence and since NTT partners with security technology vendors we have access to development and intelligence.

Specialized Security Analysts, and highly trained and experienced experts in NTT’s Global Threat Intelligence Center (GTIC) then provide the human enrichment that adds context, for application to its managed and consulting services, enabling NTT’s clients to make informed business decisions on the risks that they face.

How we are different

--NTT Global Threat Intelligence supports standard interfaces for ingestion and exporting, including STIX/TAXII, XML, JSON, PDF, email and other formats of structured and unstructured data, along with an SDK and APIs for custom connections.

--NTT Ltd., as part of the NTT Group, brings a scale of resources that cannot be matched by competitors. NTT R&D exceeds $2B annually, bringing significant innovation to market. The company manages 10 global SOCs, analyzing 6.1 trillion logs annually. This information, along with experience with analyzing over 150 million attacks, provides extremely high-quality data feeding global threat intelligence.

--NTT’s capabilities are constantly being upgraded, with the addition of new internal and external data sources such as its recent membership in the Cyber Threat Alliance. Another way to look at updates is the frequency and quality of threat intelligence publications made available to NTT clients and in some cases the broader enterprise community.
