The latest product on our growing MetaDefender Platform enhances how we protect the whole supply chain, by adding a dedicated software supply chain solution. Leveraging our comprehensive threat detection and prevention technologies within the MetaDefender Platform, this solution provides defense against malware, vulnerabilities, and hardcoded credentials lurking within the source code. Technologies within MetaDefender Sotware Supply Chain include: SBOM for an automated inventory report to help organizations stay compliant and identify vulnerable third-party packages or outdated licenses; Multiscanning to combine the power of over 30 antivirus engines; Proactive Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to identify confidential credentials or sensitive information left within source code; and Country of Origin to detect and flag software components that were developed in adversarial countries that may not comply with organizational policies and regulations.
However, OPSWAT’s dedication to securing the supply chain goes beyond this software. We also offer other lines of defense, including MetaDefender Drive for transient cyber asset scanning, MetaDefender OT Security for asset inventory and management, and MetaDefender Kiosk for advanced peripheral and removable media sanitization that scans compiled binaries and firmware on files stored on media before it’s inserted into assets on critical networks.
