Overview

The Ping Identity Platform enables enterprises to accelerate cloud and mobile initiatives as part of their digital transformation. Ping’s technology secures over 3 billion identities through its multi-factor and contextual authentication, single-sign on, federated identity administration and access management solutions, making it the only Identity and Access Management (IAM) provider that meets the needs of the modern enterprise.

The Ping Identity Platform is made up of a comprehensive suite of products and capabilities that work together to deliver seamless and secure access to all applications, including PingID, PingFederate, PingOne, and PingAccess. The PingID solution enables mobile and token-based multi-factor authentication (MFA), allowing users to leverage voice calls, SMS, Apple Watch, etc. to verify their identity in real-time. The PingFederate Server provides single sign-on (SSO), API security and provisioning for customers, partners and employees from any device. The PingOne Cloud is an IDaaS solution that enables organizations to deliver secure cloud SSO and MFA for users with one username and password, eliminating security issues that arise from the use of multiple passwords. The PingAccess server allows customers to manage access to web applications and APIs. This is the only solution providing role- and attribute-based access control that applies policies based on identity, allowing enterprises to enable access from any client to any application.

In August 2016, Ping acquired UnboundID and recently integrated its platform with the UnboundID platform to provide enterprise customers with a solution that drives increased revenue, customer engagement and loyalty. With the integration, the Ping Identity Platform added a highly scalable user directory for social login (PingDirectory) as well as data sync (PingDataSync) and governance capabilities (PingDataGovernance) for customers. Through its integration of UnboundID, combined with Ping’s existing MFA, SSO and secure access capabilities, Ping delivers the most complete CIAM solution in the identity market.

How we are different

Ping is the only IAM provider to solve identity challenges for enterprises in all stages of cloud adoption, whether they are 100 percent in the cloud or hybrid, so they can keep legacy investments while adopting new technologies at their own pace.

The Ping Identity Platform provides customers with seamless and secure access to their applications across a variety of industries. This is validated by the company’s impressive client roster, which includes Box, Chevron, Cisco, Disney, GE, Kraft Foods and Walgreens, who share Ping’s vision for Identity Defined Security. For example, Land O’ Lakes uses Ping’s SSO platform to allow employees to connect to business applications quickly and securely. Ping’s SSO capabilities enabled Land O’ Lakes to reduce administrative costs by providing simple, secure SSO access for more than 6,500 users, reducing the number of password related help desk calls.

Ping partners with top technology providers to simplify access to enterprise applications and data. As a member of Google’s “Recommended for Google Apps for Work” program, Ping provides joint enterprise customers an effortless Google Apps for Work experience by integrating applications with the Google login, granting secure access and single sign-on to enterprise applications running anywhere. Ping recently announced a partnership with Microsoft to deliver integrations that extend the value of Microsoft’s IDaaS solution. Through this partnership, Ping’s product solutions serve as a bridge for secure remote access and SSO from any device to more on-premises web applications for Microsoft Azure customers. Ping is also a founding partner in the Identity Defined Security (IDS) Alliance, launched in October 2016, alongside Optiv Security, AirWatch, Netskope, Exabeam, Lieberman Software and ThreatMetrix. The IDS Alliance places identity at the center of security, and delivers a new blueprint for CISOs to design a comprehensive identity defined security platform.
