Proficio provides managed detection and response (MDR), which is widely considered to be the latest, most innovative evolution of the MSSP and is a critical piece of Proficio’s cybersecurity offerings. Proficio’s MDR capabilities were recently recognized in Gartner’s Market Guide to Managed Detection and Response Services for the second consecutive year.

Using managed endpoint security allows Proficio to take monitoring and detecting and extend those valuable services to include responding to threats. Proficio’s threat detection services include 24×7 security monitoring of endpoints, users and network activity, suspicious event investigation and more accurate alerts, and correlation of EDR events with Threat Intelligence IoCs and analysis.

Threat intelligence is a critical component of an adaptive security model. Through its comprehensive threat intelligence offering, Proficio helps organizations better understand the specific threats facing them by employing in-depth knowledge of potential or current attacks threatening the organization. Proficio’s incident response services include quarantining a device off the network, a snapshot image of the device, scanning the device for malicious code or files, and remediating the device. Once the incident has been addressed, Proficio provides expert investigation services, including root cause analysis, analysis of malicious code, triage, and recommendations for control modifications.
