Overview
Founded in 2015 by Rahul Powar and Randal Pinto, Red Sift is a data-driven cybersecurity company on a mission to democratise the technology vital for organisations of any size or sectors to defend against security threats. With a platform based on machine learning technology, Red Sift offers users a dashboard of tools – from network monitoring to email analysis and authentication – designed to safeguard users and brand reputation.
Red Sift works hard to help people and organisations use the latest technology to unlock the data and insights that already exist, to prevent cyber attacks. Promoting awareness of the DMARC protocol has played a big part of our early success, educating people on the benefits of its adoption to secure their email and gain full visibility into their network security.
Today, products on the platform include OnDMARC and OnINBOX, SaaS applications that work together to close the net on the phishing problem. They do so by blocking outbound phishing attacks and analyzing the security of inbound communications for company-wide email threat intelligence.

The underlying problem with cybersecurity lies in the asymmetry in the cost to attack vs the cost to defend. The best estimate suggests it is 400 times cheaper to launch an attack than it is to defend against one (Netswitch Research, 2017). Red Sift exists to change the economics of this model and enable organisations of all sizes to defend themselves, ranging from small charities and independent traders to multinational law firms and government bodies.
