Safous is nominated for OT Cyber Risk Management for its practical and measurable impact in reducing cyber risk across industrial environments by addressing a root cause often overlooked: uncontrolled privileged remote access. In OT and critical infrastructure settings, cyber incidents frequently originate from insecure remote maintenance, vendor access, and emergency operational activities—rather than malware alone.

Safous mitigates this risk by applying Remote Privileged Access Management principles directly to OT environments. Instead of granting broad network-level access, Safous governs privileged operations at the application and system level—controlling who can access OT assets, what actions they are permitted to perform, and for how long.
