Overview
Seclore offers a comprehensive Data-Centric Security Platform designed to protect and control digital assets, helping enterprises close critical data security gaps and prevent data theft. Unlike traditional security tools that focus primarily on securing networks and devices, Seclore ensures that sensitive data is protected wherever it travels—whether inside or outside the organization.
Seclore’s solution empowers organizations to set automated security policies and enable granular control over who can access digital assets, what level of access they have, and for how long. These controls are agnostic to the underlying technology, meaning they work across all platforms, from email and file shares to cloud environments and on-premises storage. As a result, enterprises maintain full control over their data’s security throughout its entire lifecycle, even when it moves outside the corporate network.
The platform’s ability to revoke or modify access at any time ensures protection even after data has been shared. Seclore eliminates the need for multiple disparate tools by offering an integrated platform that classifies, protects, and controls data across users, devices, applications, and clouds. This unified approach enables security teams to quickly respond to potential threats in real-time.
Key Capabilities / Features
The Seclore Data-Centric platform utilizes four main capabilities to ensure organizational data is secure no matter where it travels: Risk Insights, Data Classification, Enterprise Digital Rights Management (EDRM), and Email Encryption.
*Risk insights -- Allows security teams to understand their organization’s current and prevented risk at-a-glance and explore key factors that contribute to increasing or decreasing risk, including data extraction activities, blocked unauthorized attempts, and how and where sensitive digital assets are being accessed.
*Data classification -- Allows for enterprise-wide visibility, streamlined user experience, automated policy enforcement, and user-driven classification.
*EDRM -- Protects sensitive information regardless of device or location. Whether a file is on a server, in an email, on a mobile device, or copied to a USB memory stick, unauthorized users will not be able to access the information.
*Email Encryption -- Protects sensitive data in emails throughout their lifecycle with granular, persistent usage data security controls – without any user intervention
Over the last year, Seclore expanded its Enterprise Digital Rights Management (EDRM) platform to support neutral or interoperable computer-aided design (CAD) files. This update addressed the needs of industries that create, manage, and share intellectual property (IP), offering manufacturers improved visibility for compliance reporting and auditing. Seclore has also introduced enhanced controls and reporting capabilities that empower organizations to meet and exceed the most stringent and evolving cybersecurity and data privacy regulations.
How we are different
In the last few years, global compliance regulations have become exceedingly difficult for organizations to manage. Over the last year, Seclore has set a new standard for global enterprise compliance by introducing enhanced controls and reporting capabilities. These updates empower organizations to meet and exceed the most stringent and evolving cybersecurity and data privacy regulations. The Seclore Data-Centric Security Platform ensures that every piece of data receives its own individualized layer of protection, authentication, visibility, and control. This unique approach helps businesses maintain compliance across a wide range of international regulatory frameworks while safeguarding sensitive information.
Data breaches and data loss are a top concern for many of today’s enterprises. Seclore’s platform not only dramatically bolsters an organization’s security and compliance posture, but also helps customers drive business outcomes. According to IBM, the average cost globally of a data breach is $4.88M and in the United States, the average cost is $9.36M. Seclore’s ability to prevent data theft can help prevent costly lawsuits, ransom money, and lost profits due to declining customer trust — all of which help enterprises save money in the long run.
Security services and products often get in the way of workplace productivity, as these tools can create friction in workflows. Seclore’s platform is purposefully designed to ensure organizations can have both security and usability so that data remains secure and protected without interrupting workflows or disrupting business operation.
