NOMINATION HIGHLIGHTS

Founded in 2017 and acquired by ONDAS Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) in 2025, Sentrycs is a global leader in protocol-based counter drone technology, delivering simple, effective, and proven C-UAS solutions for critical infrastructure, homeland security, and defense customers worldwide. With operational deployments across more than 20 countries, Sentrycs provides solutions designed to maintain continuity in environments where safety, compliance, and reliability are essential.
Unauthorized drones pose a growing threat to sites such as oil and gas refineries, power plants, nuclear stations, and chemical complexes, where even a brief interruption can have significant safety and economic consequences. A single drone can compromise production lines, endanger personnel, or trigger shutdowns with far reaching operational impact. Yet defensive responses must avoid interfering with communication networks, GNSS dependent systems, or the continuous operation of essential infrastructure. Jamming, spoofing, and kinetic interceptors are often unsuitable or restricted because of their potential collateral effects, leaving a significant protection gap.

Sentrycs addresses this gap with Cyber Over RF, a protocol level counter drone technology that provides full operational lifecycle coverage. By analyzing the communication protocol exchanged between a drone and its controller, Sentrycs system passively detect, track, identify, and, when necessary, take over unauthorized drones using Cyber over RF (CoRF) technology. The entire process is autonomous, safe, and non-disruptive to surrounding communication and GNSS signals.

By extracting critical data directly from the communication protocol, the “language” exchanged between the drone and its controller, Sentrycs systems can identify drones by serial number, distinguish between friend and foe, track altitude, speed, and camera direction, locate the operator’s position, and safely take control of the drone, redirecting or landing it in a designated zone.

Sentrycs Horizon, a patent pending, AI driven detection engine, complements the protocol based detection library with an additional layer of non library-based AI identification. Horizon continuously analyzes the RF environment and identifies signal bursts that match the characteristics of datalinks emitted by drones, remote controls, or other communication devices.

Supporting all transmission types, Horizon provides a future proof early warning mechanism, delivering actionable intelligence by detecting transmissions that may otherwise go unnoticed. While detection is its primary capability, Horizon also lays the foundation for a complete DTIM cycle by extracting meaningful insights from unknown communication patterns and enabling the system to evolve alongside emerging and DIY drone technologies.

Flexible deployment options and seamless integration with platforms such as Rafael’s Drone Dome, Leonardo’s Falcon Shield, and Elbit’s Redrone allow Sentrycs to scale across large and complex environments.

By combining precision, regulatory alignment, operational safety, and future ready adaptability, Sentrycs delivers the level of security critical infrastructure demands in an era of escalating drone threats.
