SiteLock Risk Assessment: At SiteLock, helping educate customers on the importance of website security is just as important as providing top tier website security solutions. The SiteLock Risk Assessment is a proprietary predictive model used to determine a website’s likelihood of attack. During each assessment, SiteLock leverages over 500 variables to calculate a risk score on a scale of low, medium and high. When a website indicates a high-risk score, it is nearly 12 times more likely to be exploited than the average website. If a website is rated with a medium risk score, it is 4 times more likely to be compromised than the average website. A low risk score indicates that the website is just as likely to be compromised than the average website. Along with their Risk Assessment score, customers are provided an in-depth explanation as to why they are receiving a certain score and how to address any issues.
