Trend Micro’s forward-looking research team works round the clock to anticipate where the next threats are coming from, so that our products provide maximum protection across physical, virtual, cloud and hybrid environments. This year, NSS Labs cited Deep Discovery as most effective “Recommended” breach detection system in tests. Gartner rated us a leader in Endpoint Protection Platforms, while the European Expert Group for IT Security (EICAR) accredited Deep Security, OfficeScan and Deep Discovery with a new “backdoor-free” certification.

One of the most important roles a cybersecurity company can play is in working with law enforcement. Building on our strong track record here, Trend Micro last year signed a landmark MoU with the National Crime Agency which has already resulted in the arrest of two suspected cybercriminals. Other alliances with Europol, Interpol the FBI and have led to the takedown of several botnets.

Finally, Trend Micro continued in 2015 to play a major role as leading source of threat intelligence, insight and guidance for consumers and organisations alike. We produced landmark reports into the Chinese, German, Japanese and North American cybercrime underground; the Deep Web; and research into advanced threat groups such as Pawn Storm and Rocket Kitten which has helped advance understanding of these shadowy corners of the threat landscape.
