This provides security advantages for users to quickly spot rogue applications or unusual activity, including traffic or packets moving between unauthorized geographies, or questionable file transfer protocol (FTP) transfers conducted on sensitive data.

Ixia AppStack delivers real-time application and user data to monitoring tools so that customers can be empowered to make better decisions with better data. It provides rich data on behavior and location of users and applications in any format needed, including raw packets, filtered packets or metadata. Ixia offers centralized network visibility management and operational control via a single pane of glass which allows users to scale in both physical and virtual environments.

Ixia’s Active SSL technology, a part of the SecureStack feature set, provides organizations visibility to see inside traffic encrypted with ephemeral key to enhance the security of their network.
