Proficio’s global team of security experts provides around-the cloud event monitoring, threat detection, and incident management from Security Operations Centers (SOCs) in California, Singapore and Barcelona. The team is comprised of passionate security experts with the knowledge and expertise to staff important roles such as Threat Analysts, Threat Intelligence Analysts, SIEM Content Engineers, Managed Services Engineers, and Vulnerability Intelligence Engineers.
Proficio‘s SOC team leverages the company’s Threat Management Platform, which combines of the power of industry-leading commercial software and proprietary technology in order to provide our clients with advanced analytics, threat intelligence, machine learning-based threat hunting and superior threat detection. Accomplishments
• Proficio’s team works hard to understand their clients’ environments and prides themselves on being an extension of our clients IT teams. Based on each client’s individual cybersecurity needs, our team will tune the content and priority of security events, provide custom alerts and reporting, and remediate incidents, so that the internal teams spend less time filtering through the noise and more time on other priorities.
• Proficio’s SOC team has a wide range of expertise that provides our clients with a comprehensive security solution to helps reduce their risk, meet security and compliance goals, and maximize their investment in security tools. This includes security device experts, offering managed or co-managed services for tools such as next-generation endpoint software, firewalls, and IPS products, as well as Vulnerability Intelligence Engineers who help clients prioritize vulnerabilities based on the likelihood of exploitation, the criticality of the assets at risk, and the level of known activity in the wild.
• Proficio has a dedicated Threat Intelligence Research team that constantly is researching new vulnerabilities and reviewing and prioritizing threats published by other organizations. They provide their findings via a free daily Twitter feed (@proficioinc) and a weekly newsletter to highlight top cybersecurity vulnerabilities, incidents, and changes to the threat landscape to help our clients and subscribers reduce the noise and more effectively determine what action to take to protect themselves from potential attacks and compromises.
