Award group
The Cybersecurity Excellence Awards recognize the people and teams behind security, from CISOs and SOC teams to researchers, marketers and early-career talent. This group also covers programs and projects, judged on what they achieved.

Enter by February 27, 2027. Anyone can submit an entry: the company, the nominee, a colleague or an agency.
This group is for people, teams, and the programs and projects they run. Nominees can work at any kind of organization: enterprises, public sector bodies, service providers and security vendors.
The other three groups cover different kinds of nominee. Enter a product or service in Cybersecurity Product / Service, the company itself in Cybersecurity Company, and a deployment built for a specific sector in Cybersecurity Industry Solution. People and their employers often enter different groups in the same season.
Start with the category that best matches the nominee's role or the achievement you want recognized, then add any related categories that also fit. Each category is judged separately, with its own nomination, so a person or team entered in several related categories has more than one chance to be recognized.

An independent jury of security practitioners, analysts and CISOs scores each nomination on leadership, innovation and impact. Each nomination competes in its category against peers in a similar setting and region. Your entry package, any sponsorship and public votes do not affect the jury's scores.

The jury awards Gold, Silver or Bronze, or a Finalist badge, and results are published on this site and announced to the 600,000+ member Cybersecurity Insiders community. Every approved nomination also enters the separate Community Choice award, decided by public votes.

Anyone can submit a nomination: the nominee, a colleague or manager, the organization, or an agency entering a client. The nomination form has a confidential field for detail that is shared with the judges and not published, such as internal figures, customer names or incident details.
