SpyCloud Manager of Human Intelligence Keira Stevens is one of the rare unicorn employees every person wishes to work with at some point in their career. Keira offers strong individual subject matter expertise on open-source intelligence (OSINT) and human intelligence (HUMINT), combined with leadership skills and empathy that make her a natural leader and an invaluable member of SpyCloud’s team.

Keira joined SpyCloud two years ago as Senior Security Researcher. Within that time, Keira has stepped up to cover and improve many areas of SpyCloud’s breach collection lifecycle while becoming a prolific collector of data and mentor to others on the team. She quickly earned the trust and respect of her coworkers, other department heads and the entire company, and she stepped into a new leadership role as manager of the HUMINT team earlier this year. She has also taken the initiative to mentor others in the engineering department on one of her passions: password cracking.

Keira’s commitment to mentorship extends to security researchers across the industry. In addition to training others on HUMINT, she has led training sessions and written about a variety of topics related to password cracking, botnet distribution and other tactics used by cybercriminals. She is generous with her expertise and shares her knowledge to help the entire industry in the fight against cybercrime.

Keira is an impressive problem solver who is always able to address complex issues with strategy and confidence. She is inspired by challenges and never intimidated by them. Keira’s positive impact on the company is clear to the entire team, from the founding team all the way to the newest employee.
