Boryana Kulinska is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security, risk management, and compliance within the FinTech sector. She currently serves as the Head of Governance, Risk, and Compliance at myPOS, a leading FinTech company based in Sofia, Bulgaria. ​

In her role at myPOS, Boryana is responsible for overseeing the company’s governance frameworks, managing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Her strategic initiatives have significantly enhanced the organization’s security posture and operational resilience.​

Boryana holds a Master’s degree in Information Security and possesses several esteemed certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified Blockchain Security Professional (CBSP), and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). ​

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Boryana is an active member of the cybersecurity community. She serves on the Board of the ISACA Sofia Chapter and mentors emerging professionals through programs like Women4Cyber, demonstrating her commitment to fostering the next generation of cybersecurity leaders. ​

Her contributions also include organizing and speaking at industry events, such as the CyberCLUB Community Day, where she shares her insights on cybersecurity advancements.
