Mr. Khan has spent over 10 years marketing and positioning cybersecurity companies, vendors, and products for high growth and successful outcomes. In his tenure, he has developed and maintained strong technical proficiency, as well as business acumen. Mr. Khan maintains strong customer orientation, constantly working with, advising and enhancing CISOs, security professionals and IT leaders on their cybersecurity programs and strategies.
Mr. Khan developed the marketing strategy, product and brand positioning for several category-creating and category-leading security products, starting with the Imperva SecureSphere Database Security Gateway (DSG) product family. He joined Imperva when the company had less than 30 US employees and created the go-to-market strategy for what evolved into the Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) space. Mr. Khan and was crucial in Imperva DSG’s recognition in the Gartner Magic Quadrant as a leader in the market.
Mr. Khan also led the marketing efforts for ArcSight’s award-winning flagship ArcSight ESM SIEM solution, joining ArcSight before the company’s IPO. At ArcSight, he defined the requirements for ArcSight’s mid-market SIEM product family, ArcSight Express and oversaw the tremendous growth of this new offering. After ArcSight’s acquisition by Hewlett Packard, Mr. Khan continued to evangelize ArcSight products internally and to HP’s customer base, including developing new channel strategies fueling continued growth.
More recently, Mr. Khan has contributed to the growth of innovative cybersecurity solutions, including fraud prevention and malware detection solutions at ThreatMetrix, vulnerability management at Tenable, digital risk management at RiskIQ and more. Currently, Mr. Khan leads marketing at Securonix, the leading User Entity Behavior Analytics, and Next-Gen SIEM provider, and is executing a high growth multi-channel marketing strategy for growth.
Mr. Khan is an accomplished cybersecurity subject matter expert and is regularly asked to speak at public and private security venues, including conferences such as ISC2, Cybersecurity Summit, SecureWorld Expo and more.
