NOMINATION HIGHLIGHTS

As Chief Business Officer at Kiteworks, Amit Toren leads corporate development, M&A, strategic partnerships, and business operations – including business intelligence, pricing, M&A integrations, and other cross-functional projects. Since joining in mid-2020, he has built and executed a transformative inorganic growth strategy that has fundamentally reshaped Kiteworks’ competitive position in cybersecurity. During his tenure, the company has tripled employees and nearly quadrupled ARR and EBITDA, with over 50% of total growth driven directly or indirectly by M&A, and the vast majority of new employees joining through acquisitions.

2025 was a landmark year. Toren led the acquisition of Zivver (Netherlands) – Kiteworks’ largest deal to date by both ARR and deal value – expanding the Private Data Network with human error prevention and AI-driven email DLP capabilities, deepening European presence across government and enterprise customers, and bringing over 100 professionals into the organization, including into key leadership roles. This capped six strategic acquisitions in under four years: totemo (Switzerland), ownCloud and DRACOON (Germany), Maytech (UK), 123FormBuilder (Romania), and Zivver. Collectively, these deals added thousands of enterprise and commercial customers across Europe, North America, and the UK. All deals have been highly accretive, and Toren played a key role in the process that led to Kiteworks securing a $456 million investment from Insight Partners and Sixth Street, achieving a $1 billion+ valuation.

Also in 2025, Toren’s M&A integration practice delivered standout results. 123FormBuilder was integrated in record time, is now fully embedded in the Kiteworks platform, and generated sales pipeline before integration was even completed. Customers upgrading to the Kiteworks platform have shown ~80% ARR growth post-migration, retention rates improved post-acquisition, and key talent was retained across all deals. Toren also built a highly robust M&A pipeline, having screened nearly 900 companies and maintaining a deep bench of validated targets across multiple geographies and use cases.

On the innovation front, Toren spearheaded deployment of advanced AI-powered tools for corporate development, reducing contract diligence time by 80%, and for self-serve business intelligence now widely leveraged across the organization, delivering rapid insights that directly inform operational and strategic decision-making.

Toren’s leadership is grounded in over 20 years of experience in technology and management consulting – including leading dozens of M&A deals at PwC, earning an MBA from MIT Sloan, and formative leadership as a Department Head in Israel Defense Forces Intelligence Unit 8200.
