NOMINATION HIGHLIGHTS
Ashish is a staff software engineer and engineering manager who leads Google’s Workspace Security Team. His work include researching emerging cybersecurity trends and building solutions to protect Google Workspace users and their digital assets like data and identity.
He is responsible for building Google workspace’s distributed low-latency security infrastructure evaluating millions of access requests to from Workspace users every second. He is an inspiring thought leader in the cybersecurity area.
His outstanding contributions and sustained achievements in the area of cybersecurity has had significant impact in the industry as a whole.
Accomplishments
Ashish has lead Context Aware Access - Google Workspace's Zero Trust product offering to evaluate every access to their organization's resources by specifying AccessPolicies (rules). The product has received a lot of media attention :
