NOMINATION HIGHLIGHTS
Artificial intelligence infrastructure is scaling faster than security architectures can adapt. As AI data centers deploy thousands of GPUs per cluster, the most privileged and exposed layer — the management and control plane — remains dependent on legacy, software-based defenses.
Axiado changes that by embedding autonomous AI agents directly into silicon.
Through its Trusted Control/Compute Unit (TCU), Axiado moves intelligence below the operating system and hypervisor — into the silicon foundation where systems boot, authenticate, and operate. Rather than reacting after compromise, the TCU continuously monitors, learns, and protects infrastructure in real time from inside the hardware itself.
This silicon-embedded AI architecture delivers three architectural breakthroughs:
Hardware-Rooted Behavioral Security
The TCU continuously learns normal platform behavior across firmware integrity, administrator access patterns, workload telemetry, voltage, and thermal signals. It detects anomalies — including sophisticated side-channel attacks that manipulate voltage or timing during attestation — before traditional CPU-based defenses are active. Protection begins at boot and persists through runtime.
Accelerated Control-Plane Protection
Just as hyperscalers deploy DPUs to inspect high-speed data traffic, Axiado delivers accelerated AI protection for the management plane. By consolidating TPM, BMC, root-of-trust, and runtime intelligence into a single AI-enabled SoC, Axiado replaces fragmented motherboard security components with unified, silicon-rooted trust.
AI-Driven Infrastructure Efficiency
AI data centers are constrained not only by risk, but by power. Axiado’s AI-driven Dynamic Thermal Management and Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling optimize cooling and compute utilization based on workload prediction. Engineering results demonstrate savings of up to $20,000 per rack annually — or as much as $20 million per year for a 1,000-rack AI data center — while enhancing resilience and sustainability.
Axiado is not layering AI onto cybersecurity. It is embedding AI directly into the silicon control fabric of AI infrastructure — establishing a new category of AI-native control-plane security and efficiency for the accelerated computing era.
