Bill is an experienced and well-educated cybersecurity professional who is known across the industry for his knowledge and willingness to assist others. He is a graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy where he later taught courses on cybersecurity after his time as a fighter pilot in the Navy. Bill led security at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and served them as Vice President and Chief Security Officer. As CISO of SecurityGate.io he applies his experience in helping customers make cybersecurity strategy decisions and guides product innovation to provide ways of discovering cyber risk faster.

Accomplishments

- Variety of experience. Bill has studied and led cybersecurity efforts at the university level, in the military, for a critically important government organization, and in private corporate settings that engage with others across critical infrastructure sectors in every global region.
