Overview
Each year, Breach Secure now strives to create an Annual Training that is more educational, engaging, and hard-hitting than the last.
A recent upward trend in Narrative-Based Learning inspired the team to create a Hollywood-style training that was so immersive, users couldn’t help but be engaged.
This project was a six-month process: from script writing, to filming, to creating supplemental materials that helped address all learning styles. It all started with Breach Secure Now’s Content Team working alongside a full-service production company to effectively build the world of a breach. The team then flew to Texas to partake in the filming process: guiding actors with cybersecurity terminology and information on cybercriminals motivations, as well as educating producers on end-user requirements and final product expectations. The finished deliverable resulting in a high-production, high-value training.
Cybersecurity training is only as effective as it is engaging. This completed project includes everything needed to get and keep a user’s attention, while providing the information and support needed to mitigate end-user risks.

Accomplishments
• Breach Secure Now, the channel leader in cybersecurity awareness training, teamed up with a full-service production company, that specializes in brand films and television shows around the world, to deliver a final product that was sure to engage end users while providing them with the cybersecurity education needed to become a superhuman firewall.
• With this project, the Content Team dared to step out of the traditional cybersecurity training box, using the Narrative-Based learning model as inspiration to deliver educational information in a creative, and memorable way. Re-imagining what workplace training can look like, and addressing the “disengaged employee” concerns that many companies have when it comes to providing mandated educational material.
• In addition to a full production mini-drama, the project also included supplemental PDFs to cover different learning styles, and a presenter-style training option for more traditional learners. All end-user preferences were considered throughout the making of this project, and the final product truly shows that initiative.
