Overview

Chaim Mazal is the Chief Security Officer at Gigamon, where he oversees global security, information technology, network operations, governance, risk, compliance, internal business systems, as well as the security of Gigamon product offerings.

Prior to joining the Gigamon team, Chaim was the SVP of Technology and CISO at Kandji. Chaim has built engineering-first security programs at three of the highest-valued multi-billion dollar SaaS startups in the Mid-West: ActiveCampaign, Uptake, and Avant. Chaim has created several SaaS-specific engineering-focused programs using his expertise in product lead hyper-growth and offensive security to secure fast-paced modern environments.

Chaim is actively involved in the SaaS community. He is a lifetime member and contributor to the OWASP Foundation and currently sits on several advisory boards, including Cloudflare, Gitlab, and Lacework.

Chaim has more than a decade of distinguished experience in cybersecurity, holding executive roles at industry-leading organizations such as Kandji, ActiveCampaign, Avant, and Uptake. Chaim actively strengthens the cybersecurity industry through mentorship, advisory roles, and collaborative innovation. His service on the advisory boards of eight prominent tech companies, including Cloudflare, GitLab Inc., and Cybereason, demonstrates his ability to influence the industry's trajectory. He has pioneered SaaS-specific, engineering-focused security programs and led corporate scaling efforts, ensuring organizations remain agile in mitigating risks. Through community engagement and thought leadership, Chaim has cultivated a culture of proactive security while fostering collaboration between IT and security teams to address emerging challenges of adversarial AI and changing cyber risks holistically.
