As General Manager, nCipher Security, Cindy leads a world-class team of security professionals who empower world-leading organizations by delivering trust, integrity and control to their business critical information and applications.

With a proven track record of leading and directing high growth, profitable data security organizations, Cindy served as CEO Thales eSecurity, President Thales eSecurity, Inc. and Vice President Global Strategy and Marketing for Thales eSecurity over the past 15 years. She established Thales eSecurity as a world leader in data security and market leader in hardware security modules and had a leadership role in three major acquisitions undertaken by Thales: nCipher (2008) and more recently Vormetric (2016) and Gemalto (2019), as well as the acquisition of nCipher Security by Entrust Datacard (2019).

Prior to Thales, Cindy served as Vice President of the Product Division for Racal Data Group, managing the product operations in the Americas. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from University of Miami and an MBA from Lewis University in Chicago, Illinois.

Accomplishments

-Cindy has overseen the successful carve out of nCipher Security while part of Thales, and the divesture of nCipher from Thales to Entrust Datacard, all while nCipher has still performed successfully against its day-to-day business goals.


-Cindy oversees nCipher Security's global business operations with major presence in multiple countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Australia.


-Cindy has demonstrated her commitment to cybersecurity industry by continuously helping the companies she led achieve year-over-year growth. Over the course of her career, she was instrumental in driving Thales eSecurity’s position as a world leader in data security and its market leading position in hardware security modules and encryption. Her successes include:
• Driving 50% growth for application security
• Driving 100% growth in data security encryption over the last 5 years, with more than a 35% return on sales
