Claire’s consultancy services have been retained by IBRS as a security and risk advisor, providing support, advice, training and facilitation to their clients and subscribers.

Claire is a professional industry speaker, sharing the insights gained from her education, experience and research. Her insightful and pragmatic approach to information and cyber security has seen her invited to participate in industry event panels, as both a guest speaker and panel facilitator.

Claire has more than 17years experience in the security industry across fraud, paralegal, corporate security, cyber and information security. With a career that spans the Asia Pacific including Australia, Hong Kong, China and India, Claire has led award-winning strategies and established multiple cyber security functions.


Claire has invested research time into interviewing industry peers and leaders to get to the heart of the issues facing organisations in relation to hiring and retaining cyber talent to protect an organisation. The combination of research outcomes and her extensive experience led to the development of the innovative 5-step framework detailed in Claire’s best-selling book ‘The Secure CIO; How to hire and retain great cyber security talent to protect your organisation.'
