Overview
At age 27, Eyal Gruner is just getting started. He is the co-founder, main investor and CEO of Cynet, which is quickly making its mark in the world of cybersecurity.
Eyal is also co-founder and former CEO of BugSec, Israel’s leading cyber consultancy, and Versafe, which was acquired by F5 Networks in 2013.
Eyal, or “boy security wonder,” as Gartner VP Distinguished Analyst Avivah Litan referred to him in her blog, began his career at age 15, when he hacked into his bank’s ATM, then approached bank management to demonstrate the weaknesses of their system.
He parlayed this into a job, working with the Information Security team of Bank Leumi for a year, then spending another year at age 16 working at the former digital rights management and internet security firm Aladdin Knowledge Systems, before founding BugSec in 2005.
Eyal has been recognized in Google’s Hall of Fame with a Google Security Reward for identifying and reporting vulnerabilities.
Accomplishments

• At the age 21, Gruner founded Versafe, which was acquired by F5 in 2013.
