NOMINATION HIGHLIGHTS
Gökhan Yüceler is a long-time cybersecurity leader who has built and managed security businesses at scale-working with large teams and seeing firsthand that the industry’s biggest constraint is not data collection, but human capacity. As customer demand and threat volume grow, simply hiring more analysts does not scale: qualified talent is scarce, ramp-up takes time, and the volume of external signals quickly becomes impossible to “digest” through a purely human model.
After founding an end-to-end, data-driven threat intelligence company (ThreatMon), Gökhan recognized a fundamental growth challenge: as organizations expand their digital footprint and monitoring scope, the amount of external exposure and threat data rises faster than any team can expand. He concluded that scaling cybersecurity by headcount alone is structurally inefficient and that the future requires capturing analyst knowledge and turning it into repeatable intelligence.
This is where his innovation stands out. Gökhan led the development of an “AI-augmented analyst” approach: teaching AI to interpret high-volume cyber signals the way experienced analysts do-filtering noise, understanding context, explaining relevance, and producing actionable outputs. Instead of using AI as a surface feature, he positioned it as a cognitive layer across the product-acting like a security advisor that supports triage, prioritization, and executive communication.
By embedding “analyst-grade interpretation” into ThreatMon’s workflows, Gökhan enabled organizations to scale threat analysis without scaling analyst headcount at the same rate-turning overwhelming data into clear decisions and CISO-ready insights. His work reflects a practical, real-world innovation: transforming cybersecurity operations from human-bottlenecked to intelligence-amplified.
