Overview

Intelligent Waves’ innovative technology leadership has proactively helped elevate Government cyber resilience in the cybersecurity sector as it launched GRAYPATH & Phantom solutions, as well as the successful launch of the US Air Force’s Crowd-Sourced Flight Data (CSFD) Program.

GRAYPATH: GRAYPATH (GP) is the next generation of cybersecurity expeditionary communications. Through its patented IP Spread Spectrum technology, GP leverages the cloud to randomize & distribute message packets through the simultaneous use of multiple transport paths & encrypted channels. GP algorithms optimize throughput by continuously sensing & adjusting message flow according to channel availability & bandwidth capacity creating a smoother connection even for HD video transmissions.GP dramatically lowers the risk of detection & interception & is nearly impervious to disruption.

PHANTOM: Phantom Next Generation provides a cybersecurity ability for organizations to access foreign points of presence to conduct remote open-source information gathering & research while at the same time protecting organizations & individuals from exposure to foreign intelligence. Intelligent Waves has achieved this by combining the GRAYPATH software-defined obfuscated network with the managed attribution capability of the Phantom platform in a secure but unclassified package.

CSFD: This year, IW was the visionary mastermind behind the $100 Million+ successful launch & growth of the US Air Force’s Crowd Source Flight Data (CSFD). This program enables rapid electronic warfare programming, improves data-driven debriefs, informs cyber intelligence & operational analysis, & aids rapid software development.

An essential contribution IW made to developing the new system was creating a new method for collecting, processing, & analyzing mission-critical data & securely disseminating it within hours. The system allows Joint Commanders access to critical data for about 6% of the cost of older systems that were only used by test communities for months. This is with 99% accuracy.

Key Capabilities / Features

GRAYPATH (GP) is the next generation of cybersecurity expeditionary communications. It is a simple, asymmetric solution that ensures robust, reliable, secure, non-attributable global communication for special operations of the U.S. military.

Phantom is IW's award-winning cyber-defense solution for ultra-secure communication. Phantom Next-Generation allows the DoD’s cyber defense operations community to access foreign points of presence to conduct remote data gathering & research while at the same time protecting organizations & individuals from exposure to foreign intelligence.

It has a low probability of detecting, intercepting, & exploitation of application traffic, as well as obscuring a user's location.

As demand surges for edge-fighter data that shape the battlespace for advantage, CSFD enables rapid electronic warfare programming, improves data-driven debriefs, informs cyber intelligence & operational analysis, & aids rapid software development.

How we are different

World-Class Technological Innovation: Recently, IW introduced two disruptive cybersecurity innovations that garnered the attention of the special operations & IC defense secure communications community.

IW Executive Leadership Support for Veterans: Tony Crescenzo, President & CEO of Intelligent Waves, a Marine, volunteers his time & efforts by actively serving as the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative (VEI) Task Force Co-Chair & is in NVTC’s 2025 class of Board of Directors. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Semper Fi Fund. Through Tony’s leadership, IW proactively supports the NVTC VEI, which connects veterans & military spouses to employment opportunities & provides support to member companies in their efforts to recruit, hire, train, & retain qualified veteran & military spouse employees.

IW supports the creation of High-Paying Tech job opportunities for veterans through the Department of Defense’s (DoD) SkillBridge Program. SkillBridge provides internship opportunities to transitioning military members from all branches with industry partner organizations. Intelligent Waves is supporting 60-180 day internships in a variety of areas across the organization.
