KeeperPAM includes KeeperAI, an AI-driven threat detection and mitigation system that automatically monitors and analyzes privileged user sessions to detect and shut down malicious activity in real time, without human delay. KeeperAI is built on a Sovereign AI framework, meaning KeeperAI analysis can run locally (on-premises or in customer-controlled cloud runtimes), so no unencrypted session data or model execution leaves the customer’s environment. As a result, KeeperAI preserves full customer data sovereignty and compliance. The system generates risk analyses based on privileged session activity, helping security teams detect, assess and automatically mitigate threats as they occur.

Unlike legacy PAM solutions and retrofitted AI integrations that rely on post-event analysis, KeeperAI functions as an autonomous security layer with explicit detection capabilities: real-time behavior anomaly detection within privileged sessions, command-pattern analysis (including unusual or dangerous command sequences), keystroke and command-timing analysis and multi-protocol coverage (starting with SSH and expanding to RDP, VNC, database protocols and Remote Browser Isolation).

When KeeperAI identifies a high-risk pattern, it can escalate alerts, generate encrypted forensic summaries or automatically terminate the session to prevent escalation or data exfiltration. KeeperAI evaluates a wide range of privileged activity patterns and continuously assesses risk severity to deliver precise, low-noise alerts that reduce analyst workload while improving detection accuracy. As privileged environments grow more dynamic and automated, this level of real-time oversight becomes essential.

KeeperAI measurably improves response outcomes by identifying risky behavior within seconds during active privileged sessions, rather than hours or days later through post-session review. This real-time detection allows security teams to intervene immediately, stopping misuse, escalation or data exfiltration while a session is still in progress, minimizing impact and reducing dwell time. In a global survey from Enterprise Management Associates, 75% of KeeperPAM users reported being “very satisfied” with their solution, higher than the 54% satisfaction rate for other vendors.
