Javvad Malik is one of the most influential cybersecurity professionals in the UK. He’s currently Lead Security Awareness Advocate at KnowBe4, as well as a blogger, event speaker and industry commentator. Prior to his role with KnowBe4, he was a Security Advocate with Alien Vault. He is perhaps best known as one of the industry’s most prolific bloggers, with his signature fresh light-hearted perspective on security that speaks to both technical and non-technical audiences alike. Javvad is an author and co-author of several books. He is also one of the co-founders of B-Sides London.

Javvad has been quoted in many articles in the media where he has helped to educate fellow cybersecurity professionals as well as the general public on various cybersecurity topics. He was quoted in publications such as Dark Reading, Infosecurity Magazine, Tech Republic, Forbes, SC Magazine and others. In his role as an advocate, he spreads his message on the importance of cybersecurity to the community at conferences such as RSA, Cloud & Cyber Security Expo and Infosecurity Europe. Javvad creates original blogs and videos to share the message of cybersecurity in a way that’s fun and engaging to the average end user. He has done this better than anyone in the industry, and has even earned many awards for his efforts.
